CHRSITOPHER POLAND

Christopher Poland started in sales directly out of high school and has remained for the past 30 years. Starting at Kirby Vacuum and quickly moving on to food sales with Colorado Prime Foods. Ultimately, he found his nichè in fitness sales, working for LA Boxing when it was just a single gym in Southern California.
From there, he transitioned to big box companies. He was hired at 24 Hour Fitness for the crown jewel in the Southern California crown, “Lakeshore Towers Sporting Club.” Here he set the record for largest sale in company history. During his tenure, he was awarded the “Extreme Lifechanger Award” for selling more than $10,000 of personal training at POS within one calendar month, 19 out of his 21 months working for the company.

Soon after, Chris returned to LA Boxing. After opening their fourth location they opted to franchise, starting LA Boxing Franchise Corporation. He was promoted to National Director of Sales and awarded 10% of the company. He also wrote all sections of the franchise training manual covering sales, marketing, site selection and approval, franchisee and general manager management and sales training.
From 2004 to 2007 LA Boxing expanded from a single gym in Southern California to 121 locations in 19 states, plus Puerto Rico. During this time, Chris trained all of the franchisees and general managers. He also directly managed all the gyms as the National Director of Sales. The company was sold to The UFC Gym in 2012. Afterwards, Chris continued in the fitness industry.

He currently owns a small, boutique consulting firm dedicated to turn around struggling fitness facilities and help startups. He also does public speaking upon request. During his free time, Chris trained for years in boxing and MMA. He was also the original referee for the first several years of the UPW Pro Wrestling Federation. UPW started the careers of John Cena, Samoa Joe, The Miz and many more. Chris is passionate about sharing the techniques and philosophy that made him so successful over the years. He loves training and consulting and public speaking whenever his schedule allows.
